Phoenix Sports is a unique, non competitive sports program for children ages 2-11. The programs coach the fundamentals while promoting teamwork and confidence through fun kids sports activities and games. The smaller camp sizes provide a higher quality instruction for your kids.
Owner Douglas Goldfein is a credentialed educator with 9 years of classroom experience. Douglas is also the local Carlsbad Kelly Elementary PE teacher. The curriculum is designed to incorporate classroom learning strategies to help improve athletes understanding of the game.
Phoenix Sports is a year-round program that utilizes small group instruction. The core curriculum is designed to develop young children's athletic skills, positive attitudes, and strong minds. The coaches help every child reach developmental and physical milestones at a pace and level of instruction that is right for them.
The staff member are knowledgeable and experienced in all areas of sports, safety, and skill development. Every staff member must pass a background screen, be CPR/First Aid certified, and trained in CDC concussion protocols and allergy recognition.
