With just six days left in February, I want to mention some deals and educational events available this February:
- San Diego Museum Month is here! More than 60 San Diego County museums, historic sites, gardens, zoo/aquariums are accessible with the 50% off admission pass. There are several participating Museums in our North County Community. Pick up your 50% off pass at any regional public library and redeem at a participating museum from Feb. 1 - 28.
- Seniors Free during the Month of February at the Safari Park
- Camp Pendleton Behavioral Health is holding a contest for teens about teen dating violence and healthy relationships. This event is available for DoD patrons aboard Camp Pendleton.
- Are you an Active Duty Service member or Veteran wanting to learn more about the VA Home Loan? There is a free online webinar with Sabrina Alvarado-Realtor & Amanda Salcedo Loan Officer. Verified participants get entered into a drawing.
Community News:
- Oceanside is an amazing community with excellent beach and interior parks. And the exciting news: The City of Oceanside has a new park at El Corazon that is under development. Read about the two proposed park designs and give your feedback.
- As we end February, we enter a very windy week. The county reports gusts of up to 90 mph! Make sure to secure patio furniture, trim trees and use caution when driving, especially if you head to the East County.
